PURCHASING MANAGER



PREMIUM BRAND RESTAURANT GROUP SEEKS PURCHASING MANAGER TO BE BASED AT ITS LONDON HEAD OFFICE.



Our Client is a rapidly expanding premium restaurant group with 5 main brands. As a result of its continued expansion they are now looking for a purchasing manager for a newly created role. Carrying a maximum salary of £35,000 this is an excellent opportunity to join the Head Office team of this thriving business.



You will ;

Be educated to at least A level Standard

Have a proven track record in purchasing

Understand Corporate Expense Lines

Ideally have a background within the Restaurant Industry , and definitely within a service industry.

Ideally studying for or have attained an MCIPS.



Main Purpose of the Role:



To work under the instruction of the Head of Purchasing in the commercial negotiation of contracts to ensure the best possible products, offer and services are purchased whilst always optimising margin.



To monitor all suppliers against their agreed KPIs. To support the Head of purchasing in the follow up and management of day to day operational and supplier issues



To communicate to key Business personnel changes in supplier selection and or supplier costs that impact on the operation or commercial strategy of the business



To administer and communicate and financial analysis associated with designated purchasing commodities



•To manage all areas of insurance contracts whilst managing and processing all Public liability and insurance related claims brought against the company and ensuring controls in place to minimise claims. This also includes the management of any claims brought in respect of any perceived infringement of the DDA.
