Technical Manager



Our client is a world leader in sourcing and importing produce from around the world, and the UK.



The SUCCESSFUL candidate will be responsible for:

• Ensuring produce supplied to a key customer meets specifications

• Implementation of quality assurance systems with suppliers

• Liaison with the quality control department with regards to product quality

• Supplier development i.e. Product quality and development, varieties, packaging etc



The IDEAL candidate will possess:

• Experience in the fresh produce industry, within soft fruit preferred

• Fresh produce product knowledge to the level of ensuring that specification is achieved

• Knowledge of all relevant food safety legislation

• Assertiveness and diplomacy

• Good communication skills with attention to detail

• A flexible working approach, self motivated and dynamic approach
